The term ‘Blue Stone Conservatory Cleaning’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is: 2 Maryhill Close, Treeton, Rotherham S60 5UT. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.

•Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. We will endeavour to clean all parts of the conservatory, but if we deem any part to be inaccessible or unsafe to clean, we will not clean it.
Our methods work in all weathers, therefore weather conditions are not an acceptable reason for postponing our services. We can clean your home/premises in most conditions without affecting quality, including heavy rain. Snow and frost may deem it necessary to postpone or reschedule the clean.
In freezing temperatures, we may deem it necessary to grit areas of excess water.
We do not accept liability for damage caused by decorative or structural defects, or conditions at your property/premises, such as, but not limited to, ill-fitting windows, doors, fascias, guttering, window/conservatory trims, unsecured windows and doors, leaking seals, decorative bars stuck on glass, rotting frames, flaking paint, open/broken trickle vents, etc.
Should we be unable to access any part of your property/premises due to locked gates etc you will typically be charged 50% of the total clean cost. To avoid this, please ensure safe access is available. If you prefer keeping your gate locked or access is available through a garage or security gate we are happy to collect keys and return them after the completion of the work. We will only find a safe method of climbing over locked gates and walls if you have given prior consent to do so.
Due to insurance liabilities, we will be unable to move obstacles such as, but not exclusive to: flowerpots and garden furniture (residential) filling cabinets and items on internal window sills (commercial). If these or any other item we deem to restrict access to an area of your property/premises, we will be unable to clean it.
Full payment must be received within 14 days (commercial) and 7 days (residential) of the invoice date (unless otherwise stated).
For late payments, we will charge interest at 2.5% a month while the account remains unpaid. We require you to pay our expenses and legal costs incurred in obtaining payment on an indemnity basis. We reserve the right to charge you £5 for letters, £10 for legal notices, £20 for returned payments, and any third-party costs involved in tracing you, returned cheques, debt collection and legal action. We also reserve the right to pass unpaid accounts to a debt collector/solicitor for recovery/legal action, to whom we may assign the debt and all rights without restriction.
Should you dispute an outstanding invoice and claim to have made payment, the onus is on you to prove payment has arrived and cleared. We cannot accept any liability for cheques, postal orders or cash that has been lost in the post. We strongly advise against sending cash in the post.
Achieving optimum cleaning results may require a few cleans. For example, detergent residues from previous cleaning methods may initially cause slight spotting. Leaching can also occur from trickle vents, beading and heavily soiled frames, however in most cases, this will cease after a couple of cleans, once the dirt is removed fully from the frame areas.
We accept no liability for decorative bars coming loose or falling from the exterior of the glass. If these bars are correctly installed, our brushes will not damage them in any way. Should they become loose or fall, this is due to the adhesive not bonding correctly with the glass and coming into contact with dust, rain and contaminates.
We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions without notice.
Quotations are valid for 28 days.
A quotation accepted either verbally or by signature will be subject to the Terms and Conditions herein. On the day of the wash, or other service
All windows must be closed before cleaning. Any open windows which cannot be closed will not be washed.
You must ensure that all items to be cleaned are structurally sound prior to cleaning.
Inside windows: it is your responsibility to ensure that windows are accessible and sills and other surfaces are cleared beforehand.
We will not clean any windows we consider to be inaccessible or unsafe on the day of the clean.
We do not accept liability for any damage howsoever caused during the provision of our services.
We will require access to an external water supply. If an internal supply is to be used the customer is responsible for attaching the hose to the tap. If there is any resultant water damage from this unexpectedly coming loose the customer is fully responsible
We may require access to a 13 amp electrical supply to operate some of our equipment.
Postponement of any service will require 24 hours’ notice from the client before any scheduled date. Notice less than 24 hours or on the scheduled day will be charged at 50% of the value of the work due.
In the rare instance of weather conditions where we deem it unsafe or our cleaning processes may be inoperable, we will endeavour to provide you with as much notice as possible and re schedule the wash day.
External glass surfaces will usually be washed with pure water from water fed poles or with a squeegee.
All surfaces washed with pure water will be left to dry naturally.
A window or door is defined as any part which consists of frame, sill, sash and glass, made of wood, aluminium, steel or UVPC.
We will endeavour to remove Paint, varnish, lime scale, mastic, cement mortar, glue, labels, or other building products but only if this will not damage glass or plastic surfaces. Customer consent will be needed before any work is commenced.
Sills made of brick, tile, stone or any material other than wood, aluminium, steel or UVPC may damage our brush heads and may not be washed.
Internal glass surfaces will be cleaned using traditional methods.
External window cleaning consists of vertical windows and velux windows only unless specified otherwise.
Fascia & soffit cleaning includes the gutter face and as far behind the gutter as can be reached with our brushes.
Gutter clearance is restricted to just the gutters and does not include the removal, repair or replacement of any part of the gutter or downpipes.
We reserve the right to amend or terminate any introductory, promotional or referral scheme at any time without notice.
All costs are inclusive of vat at the standard rate unless specified otherwise.
Your satisfaction is guaranteed as we will re-clean any conservatory which we recognise as unsatisfactory as per our complaints procedure.
